As developers and designers, we are always looking to learn the best or most efficient way of doing things. We are always trying to solve problems. At Wintrr, we believe that learning from the people who inspire you and sharing with the people who look up to you is the best way to grow and share knowledge. We often find ourselves moving from blog to blog to learn the new techniques and ideas. Traditionally, information and inspiration has been scattered everywhere.
Wintrr was built out of the concept that it shouldn't have to be that way. Good information and inspiration can be in one central location. We hope to bring together the best designers and developers and create a community built for inspiring and sharing with others.
We believe that open source can and already has changed the web. By sharing code and design with others, not only are others able to use your code or be inspired by your design, but they can help you make it better as well. Open source allows people from all over the world to come together and create a wonderful product that can make everyone's life better. Sharing code and design is important, and we're excited to help facilitate that.
Our team is made up of individuals who promote an open-source environment and love code and/or design.
As we develop and expand our search to include more robust functionality, we keep track of the available functions that are currently available to you. With the use of filters in your searches, you can narrow them to better match what you're looking for.
We currently have filters to narrow search by tag and language. To search by tag, prefix your search with tag:. Similarly, to search by language, use the prefix lang:. For example, if you were looking for all posts related to geolocation, you could search tag:geolocation. To provide another example, if you were looking for every post on Ruby, you could search lang:rb.
When searching using the language filter, we support many languages. When you search using our filters, you must use the appropriate abbreviations, which you can find below.
